Our Team
Maryanne
Maryanne is a member of our reception team that has been with us since June 2016. Prior to assisting with our patients, she was employed at a popular stuff-your-animal toy store, and was offered a receptionist position at another local veterinarian in the Houston area, giving her the chance to work with actual dogs and cats. When she moved to the Deer Park area, she became part of our team.
Besides enjoying interacting with our clients’ adorable pets, she has a rescue fur baby that she adores; Brady. When she is not in our clinic answering phone calls as part of her phone technician position, she spends time being creative with food and artwork.
Emily
Emily enjoys interacting with the clients, she is always the first one to greet you at the door. She balances her free time between taking care of her rescued kitten, Athena, going to school to study Law and painting! Emily plans to one day become a lawyer and do pro bono cases for those in need.
Jackaline
Jackie has always loved animals since she was a little girl. She has always known that she would love to work with them and love to help them. She would like to one day open up her own dog shelter. She enjoys painting, watching T.V. shows and being outdoors. She has a chihuahua named Lila.
Mandie
Mandie has always been an animal lover since she was a little girl. She loves interacting with the pets and clients. Mandie has 2 very spoiled rescue dogs, Coco and Pumpkin. She enjoys spending time with her husband, daughters, cooking, and watching/cheering for her beloved Astros.
Ellie
Ellie joined our reception team while also working as a Manager/Server at Roadhouse. She loves staying busy and in her free time she loves going to her lake house with her parents. She loves fishing and being on a boat. She was born and raised in Deer Park but would like to start traveling in the future.
Ellie is also a part-time student at San Jacinto College. She is currently getting her business degree but may change her mind again. She has a passion for being a leader and always being the light in someone else’s story. Making a difference and helping others has always been a goal of hers and she’ll forever continue to do that and strive to be the best she can.
Gabriella
Gabriella has been in the veterinary field since 2018. She completed degrees in Mathematics and Biology. While completing her degrees, she chose to follow her interests and passion with animals and their health. She enjoys being a part of their lives by watching them grow and helping support their families in making the best choices and medical care decisions. She enjoys learning about advancements and therapies for our pets as well. She has a Labrador ( Samantha), a Pixie-Bob (Loretta) and a Frenchie/Boston (Wednesday) at home. They enjoy relaxing outside in the front yard and watching the day go by.
Yuliana
Yuliana has always had a passion for helping others. From a young age, she showed a deep compassion for animals, often rescuing any she found in need. She has a 6-year-old Chihuahua named Coco and Yogi, a 4-year-old Chiweenie. She loves spending quality time with her husband and 3 kids and their beloved fur babies. In the future, she hopes to obtain a degree in Neonatal nursing.
Shannon
Shannon moved to Deer Park, Texas, in 2017 and joined the Deer Park Animal Hospital team in July 2023. She plans to further her education by becoming a veterinary technician and has a special interest in working with exotic pets and livestock.
Shannon is passionate about caring for animals and enjoys expanding her knowledge and experience in veterinary medicine. She takes pride in providing compassionate care to every patient she meets.
Outside of work, Shannon stays busy spending time with her three beautiful children while juggling their sports and extracurricular activities. She enjoys balancing family life with her growing career in veterinary medicine.
Samantha
Samantha lives in Deer Park, Texas, with her wonderful family. Before joining the Deer Park Animal Hospital team, she spent more than 11 years working in municipal animal control, where she was passionate about changing the public’s perception of animal control and the dedicated officers who serve their communities.
During her career, Samantha was honored to receive Animal Control Officer of the Year twice, recognized by two different police chiefs for her dedication and service. She also played a key role in coordinating the rescue of every shelter animal before Hurricane Harvey and was part of the team that dedicated a new animal shelter in honor of their late Animal Control Manager.
Although she loved her time in animal control, Samantha wanted the opportunity to make a more personal impact by working directly with clients and their pets. Since joining Deer Park Animal Hospital, she has enjoyed expanding her knowledge of veterinary medicine while learning alongside the hospital’s incredible doctors, team members, clients, and patients.
Samantha is grateful to be part of the Deer Park Animal Hospital family and looks forward to continuing to grow while providing compassionate care and support to every pet and family she serves.
Janett
Janett has always had a passion for helping animals and developed her love for them from a young age. Growing up, she was inspired by her father’s deep compassion for animals, which helped shape her own love and dedication to caring for them.
Janett has a special place in her heart for her dog, Lola, who loves giving her hugs and is a very important part of her life. Outside of work, she enjoys spending quality time with her boyfriend and family.
Janett is currently attending school to become a sonographer, with a long-term goal of combining her passion for sonography and animals by specializing in veterinary ultrasound. She is excited to continue learning and growing while pursuing a career that brings together two things she loves.
